Our Initiatives

Generations Academy Initiative for Children

At the Saudi Water Authority, we aim to create a positive impact in our communities. We carefully value our water resources and understand the challenges posed by the scarcity of fresh water in our country. We are committed to raising awareness in our communities about the fact that water is the essence of life, believing that collaborative efforts are what build sustainable communities. In line with this principle, we have established the Generations Academy to raise the awareness of the younger generations on water consumption practices and to build an innovative generation in the water sector.

Quality of Life Initiative

At the Saudi Water Authority, we strive to enhance the urban landscape and increase green spaces in the provinces of the Kingdom and in public facilities. In addition to our efforts to raise awareness for adopting a healthy lifestyle and supporting community development goals, we also organize various humanitarian initiatives, driven by our belief in our responsibility towards our community.

Innovators Adoption Initiative

Our embrace of innovators at the Saudi Water Authority reflects our commitment to supporting high-impact initiatives in the field of water technologies, contributing to water security sustainability, supporting the national economy, and promoting local content by turning ideas into reality. In this context, the Authority has recently launched the Innovators SWA Thon Hackathon, which includes five specialized tracks. Participants are given the opportunity to work with teams from diverse professional backgrounds to innovate solutions for related challenges using out-of-the-box thinking methods.

Pilgrims Service Program

More than 3 billion liters of fresh water were pumped during the Hajj season of 1445 AH - 2024 AD, in recognition of the great reward of providing water. At the Saudi Water Authority, we take pride in our services to the pilgrims of the Sacred House of Allah during the Hajj seasons. We dedicate our capabilities and efforts to them, as it is an honorable duty that Allah has bestowed upon us, and a responsibility we take pride in fulfilling as we rush to meet it.
