In this context, the Saudi Water Partnerships Company plays a pivotal role in enhancing private sector participation within the water sector and its ecosystem.

Its mission is to ensure the sustainability and security of water resources, protect the environment, provide reliable supply, deliver services that meet beneficiary satisfaction, and strengthen governance to support economic and social development.

About Saudi Water Partnerships Company The Company is a leading entity in the Kingdom’s water sector, wholly owned by the Ministry of Finance. It was established in 2003 as a Limited Liability Company pursuant to the Supreme Economic Council Resolution No. (23/5) dated 23/3/1423 AH, with the objective of activating public-private partnership (PPP) within the framework of the sector’s partnership system.

The Company acts as the primary purchaser of all types of water, including desalinated, purified, and treated water. It is also responsible for issuing and managing contracts for water and wastewater projects, transmission lines, strategic storage facilities, and dams. Additionally, it contributes specialized consultancy services in privatization, project development, and contract management, supporting the development, efficiency, and sustainability of the water sector’s infrastructure.
