The Saudi Water Authority (SWA) announced that about one billion liters of fresh water were pumped into Mecca and the Holy Sites during the Day of Tarwiyah, June 13th, as part of its operational plan to provide a secure and sustainable supply of water for pilgrims during Hajj season 1445 AH.

SWA is tirelessly working to meet the water supply needs during Hajj season and is ready to increase the supply even further for peak demand events like the Day of Arafah, Eid al-Adha, and the Days of Tashriq.

The entire water system is consistently ensuring the reliability of the water supply around the clock through trained teams and capabilities deployed in Mecca and the Holy Sites.
