Continuing its efforts to meet customer demand for desalinated water efficiently and reliably through a range of innovative initiatives that maximize existing assets without increasing capital costs, and utilizing the sector’s national capabilities, the water production teams at the Al-Majma’ah purification plant have successfully achieved a 62% increase in production from the same operational assets. This increase raises the plant’s total production to 13,000 cubic meters per day—an addition of 5,000 cubic meters per day—ensuring sustainable water resource use and enhancing water services in the region.

This achievement is part of a series of engineering solutions developed by qualified national talents within the water sector, implementing and maintaining these systems and providing the best operational practices to improve efficiency and elevate service quality across the entire supply chain. This aligns with the National Water Strategy, supply and demand plans, and aims to ensure round-the-clock water availability for beneficiaries across the Kingdom.
