Saudi Water Sector Showcases Leading Innovations in Water Supply Chain Management at 2024 Asian International Water Week in China

As part of its ongoing efforts to bolster international cooperation in water resource management, the Saudi Water Sector took part in the third edition of the Asian International Water Week (AIWW), held in Beijing, China.


The sector featured a dedicated pavilion at the accompanying exhibition, with participation from key entities, including the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, the Saudi Water Authority, National Water Company, Water Transmission and Technologies Company, Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), Saudi Water Partnership Company, and the Saudi Irrigation Organization. The pavilion served as a platform to highlight the Kingdom’s cutting-edge practices and technologies in water management. Visitors were keen to learn more about Saudi Arabia’s success in water innovation and sustainability, reinforcing the Kingdom’s reputation as a global leader in developing solutions that enhance water supply chains and ensure sustainable resources.


In a move to further deepen ties with the Chinese private sector, the Saudi Water Authority also met with senior officials from prominent Chinese and Asian tech companies. Discussions centered on potential collaborations in developing AI-driven innovations for water management and resource optimization.


The Saudi Water Sector’s presence at AIWW underscores its commitment to international partnerships and highlights the Kingdom’s leadership in the global water sector.
