President of SWA Extends Eid Al-Adha Greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince

H.E. President of the Saudi Water Authority (SWA), Eng. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Abdulkarim, has extended his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.


Al-Abdulkarim prayed for their health and well-being, and success, prosperity, and security of the Kingdom and the Saudi people under their wise leadership and innovative vision known for consistent innovation across every aspect of life. He also blessed the efforts made by the state agencies, under the guidance and leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince to serve the pilgrims and ensure a successful Hajj season with ease and tranquility.


Al-Abdulkarim highlighted the diligent work of the Kingdom's water system to meet the demand and ensure a sufficient supply in Mecca and the Holy Sites. This involved improving production capacity, maintaining strategic water storage systems, and managing transmission and supply chains to meet the higher demand during Hajj season.


He detailed the collaborative efforts of the water system agencies in creating and executing early preparedness plans for this year's Hajj. This was supported and guided by Eng. Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen AlFadley, Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, with cooperation between the public and private water sector to offer high-quality service to the pilgrims, following the leadership's directives for their comfort, security, and ease during their rituals.


H.E. President of SWA highlighted the sectors' efforts to ensure the security and safety of the water supply by continuously pumping water around the clock during the Hajj season to the holy sites and the Mecca region with utmost reliability and efficiency. The supply capacity was also set to pump more water if needed, based on pre-established plans.


Al-Abdulkarim praised the substantial efforts in the holy sites and Mecca region by the employees and specialized workforce during the Hajj season. He congratulated them on serving the pilgrims and contributing to the success of this year's Hajj season with their dedication and commitment, praying for Allah to accept the pilgrims' Hajj and the workers' efforts, as well as for their safe return to their countries.
